Tribewanted is creating a global tribe of 5,000 members who will share an island in Fiji where members get lodging and food(annual membership is $240). You can meet tribe members online and also through a live TV feed piped from the island. Think social web2.0 but actually working with people to improve the environment, having fun, traveling to Fiji, and making some long lasting friendships. This is essentially timesharing for the adventerous and gregarious. I love business models that leverage the ability for strangers and friends to work together to lower economic barriers.
